You are in complete control of your connections. When updating your account you have two options; reauthorise and refresh. What do they both mean? We explain below!
Reauthorising your Account
Reauthorisation is an important action that has been put in place to prevent companies from having permanent access to your data.
When you reauthorise a connection, you are confirming that you are happy for our app to continue securely accessing your data.
How often do I need to reauthorise my connection?
You will be prompted to reauthorise your account every 90 days. Our app will now send you a reminder five days before reauthorisation is due. You can view the status and how many days you have left until you need to reauthorise by viewing the connection in the Connections section of your app.
You can reauthorise your account by selecting the connection you wish to update from the Connections section then selecting Reauthorise.
Refreshing your Account
Refreshing your connection prompts our app to retrieve the most recent account information from your provider, such as transactions and balance.
You can manually refresh your account by selecting My Money, then heading to Connections, selecting the account you wish to update and then selecting Refresh.
Your account will automatically refresh at least four times a day for direct connections and once a day for indirect connections.
